The Business Green Awards celebrate the companies, investors, innovators, and individuals leading the transition to a net zero economy. Receiving recognition across two categories in a single evening reflects the breadth and rigour of Clean Growth Fund’s approach to climate tech investment — from its scientifically verified carbon case methodology to its rigorous reporting and hands-on support it provides portfolio companies as they scale.
The ESG Investor of the Year category sought investors that are pioneering a genuinely sustainable approach to investment including robust policies, strategies and reporting, alongside developing greener business practices across the portfolio as a whole. Early Stage Investor of the Year focussed on investors that are successfully mobilising capital into start-up and scale-up green businesses, in particular those with highly effective approaches for selecting companies and, crucially, the hands-on support they provide as those companies scale.
